Buckle up, baby!! Griffin is 16.

Raising a teenager is awesome!  I'm totally serious.  Griffin is so self-sufficient yet willing and ready to learn all kinds of adulting skills.  He is hilarious and such an interesting conversationalist when you catch him at the right time.  😉  He is interested in the world beyond  this small town and eager to get his wings (or backpack and train ticket or wheels and gas money).   He is empathetic and comforting with those he loves.   He is a good guy and tolerates my many, many, many "teachable moment" conversations.   He is a loyal friend, a loving mischievous brother and a dependable team mate.  He has avoided many of the typical teenage pitfalls of worrying about  what others think of him, his looks, his beliefs, his family.   He knows and likes who he is and so do we.  I'm so so proud of him. Some of you will remember what a difficult baby and toddler Lucy was, but let me tell you, she has certainly made it up to us.  She was a joy as a young girl, but she is AMAZING as a tween.  I am so totally biased, but I think she is brilliant.  The way she thinks, remembers things, sets high expectations of herself and meets those goals, fills me with admiration for her.  Her personality is rounded out with a healthy streak of silliness and sass that keeps us on our toes.  I love hanging out with Lucy and am anticipating her maturing into a women with excitement.  Watch out world, you can't stop her!   Birthday Interview Age? 12    Grade? 6th Your teachers this year?
