Well, folks, this whole blog thing is not happening right now.  It is always a little nagging thought in the back of my head...."You should update the blog!!!"'  But somehow, there just isn't enough time in the day and maybe a lack of motivation.  So...until further notice, this page will remain quietly here awaiting a burst of inspiration.  I absolutely expect to pick it back up sometime and really hope you will be back to read it!  In the meantime, catch me on Facebook www.facebook.com/ChristiGast , or my favorite sharing platform www.instagram.com/christigast .  You don't even have to have the app now that they are developing websites for users!!  Or visit my Wildtree website, www.mywildtree.com/cg .  Catch y'all on the flippity-flip.  Big Love to all of you!!

Playing Catch Up

I've been so busy enjoying life, getting my Wildtree business up and going, being secretary of the elementary school PTA, room Mom at pre-school and you know, wife/Mama/friend. Lots of hats, lots of fun. Thought I would post a few photos I've taken over the last week or so.

For you, Auntie Lexi

Last week I found an old video of Griffin when he was 4 and posted it to FB. It is just so cute. My sister asked why I didn't have any of Lucy singing and I thought that was a good point. So here you go...for posterity.

First games of the season

Image
Griffin and Lucy had their first soccer games of the season this morning (Lucy's first ever!). It was an absolutely perfect September morning and the kids had a blast. It helps that they are on teams with their best buddies. And I love enjoying the games with my friends! Life is good.

WOWOWOW...10 AMAZING MAGICAL YEARS.  Can't wait to celebrate with my dude this weekend at a wine and jazz fest! If you would like to reminisce or read about our wedding and see more pics, there are older posts about the wedding here, here, here and here.

Wildtree: my new endeavor

Image
I have been keeping my eyes and ears open for a part-time job where I could set my own hours and work from home and I've finally found it!  I am officially launching my Wildtree business and I am so so excited about it!!  I first became excited about this product line, Wildtree was founded on the premise that food should be natural, nutritious, delicious and easy to prepare - all at the same time. Their products are made with the finest ingredients available and contain no preservatives, additives, MSGs or dyes.  Many of their products are gluten free and/or low sodium.  I am so eager to taste their whole product line and spice up our family's menu with new healthy dishes.  One of their most popular item is their line of grapeseed oils.  Such a healthy alternative to vegetable or olive oils!  You can read more about thehealth benefits of grapeseed oil here . Every Wildtree product is natural: containing no additives, preservative...

Godzilla attacks!

Image
Last weekend I went out for a fabulous girl's night. Bruce and the kids decided to watch a decidedly un-Mama choice for family movie night. Wowwww, the kid caught Godzilla fever and spent the rest of the weekend building Lego cities and having their "Godzilla" destroy it.

First day of pre-school

Image
Lucy started school back up today. She was so happy to find out that she was going to have the same teacher as she had last year. She got out of the car with a big smile on her face and again, it was Mama shedding all the tears. Can't wait to pick her up and hear all about her day.

Griffin and Madeline were sure happy to see each other again. We have a new puppy friend, Calliope. Isn't she adorable! She is a silver lab.

Together again....

MSU always has gorgeous gardens but this year the children's area was truly gorgeous.
